Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place to Work UK, said:

“A thriving workplace culture is rooted in trust, pride, camaraderie, and a genuine commitment to employee wellbeing. When employees feel truly valued and supported, they’re not only healthier - they’re also more energised, motivated and aligned with their organisation’s goals. Congratulations to Liberty IT on earning a well-deserved place on this prestigious list!”

This recognition marks the sixth major award for Liberty IT this year, a testament to our commitment to putting people first, and highlights how deeply embedded wellbeing is in everything we do.

What The Award Means

The recognition isn’t just about perks or policies; it’s about how our people feel. To determine the winners, Great Place to Work analysed thousands of employee surveys, measuring key indicators such as work-life balance, job satisfaction, sense of purpose, and financial wellbeing.

Importantly, the evaluation also considered how consistently that positive employee experience is felt across departments, teams and levels of seniority - something we’re proud to say we’ve worked hard to ensure.

How We Are Getting It Right

At Liberty IT, wellbeing isn’t a standalone initiative; it’s part of how we operate every day. Over the past year, we’ve continued to evolve our support in ways that reflect real needs and lived experiences.

That includes the introduction of our Fertility and Menopause Support Frameworks, which provide clearer guidance and empathetic support for employees navigating deeply personal life stages and enhancing our maternity pay allowance, ensuring greater financial stability for growing families.

We’ve also launched our Able Employee Resource Group (ERG) to promote an inclusive and equitable culture that fosters awareness, understanding, and support for people with disabilities, caregivers, and family members, ensuring all are supported to thrive.

These additions sit alongside existing wellbeing programmes, flexible working options, and inclusive leadership practices.

Another Step Forward

This latest award joins an impressive list of 2025 wins, including:

  • Best Workplace in Tech in Ireland

  • Best Workplace for Development in the UK

  • Best Workplace in the UK

  • Best Workplace in Ireland

  • Best Workplace for Health & Wellbeing in Ireland

It all adds up to a culture where wellbeing is a shared value.
