Darren and Clare  - Recognising Excellence Across Liberty IT 

At Liberty IT, our success is built on talented people who bring creativity, passion, and purpose to their work every day. 

That’s why we are so proud to celebrate two of our own: Darren, Senior Solutions Engineer, and Clare, Senior Engineering Manager, as winners at the first-ever Win With Purpose, Together Awards earlier this year.

This prestigious recognition is given enterprise-wide across Liberty Mutual, celebrating teams and individuals who go above and beyond to deliver on our shared purpose. 

Building Community and Collaboration 

For Darren, this award reflects the energy and vision he has brought to Liberty IT’s Galway hub. From nurturing strong relationships with the University of Galway and tech associations to creating opportunities for collaboration and learning, his work has helped strengthen our presence in the west of Ireland.

Among other things, Darren created a sustainable tech hackathon, engaging 50 students, established an engineering forum, and founded internal programs to improve workplace culture. 

Driving Innovation and Impact 

Clare’s recognition highlights the incredible leadership she has shown in driving forward transformative projects. Her ability to deliver solutions that create real impact -both for Liberty Mutual and for our customers - is a testament to her skill, determination, and collaborative approach. 

Clare led the technical discovery and delivery of a new innovative approach to fraud detection. Her work directly supports Liberty Mutual's goal to strengthen our reputation as the most trusted global insurance brand.
